Shuttle bus from Oaxaca Airport to Oaxaca City

The shuttle bus (colectivo) is a shared van service that drops passengers off at hotels and Airbnbs in Zone 1 (Centro) for $135 pesos (~US$7) per person.

If your accommodation is outside the central zone, it costs $210 pesos (US$11) per person.

Since the city is only 15–30 minutes from the airport, there’s no need to stay near the airport. Even for early or late flights, it’s better to book in Centro where there’s more to do, eat, and see.

There’s one currency exchange booth inside the arrivals area and two ATMs. Exchange rates at the airport aren’t great, but if you need pesos right away, you’ll be fine until you reach the city.
